Discover Movement Through Breath
A re(discover) movement workshop series
Join Mary for a workshop series covering an introduction to breath mechanics and discover the untapped potential for movement and tension reduction through breath.
Most of us could benefit from slowing down and tuning in a bit. Whether it's pressure and stress from work, family duties, intense exercise/physical training, etc. we're overworked, overwhelmed, and overstimulated.
Intentional breathing is one of my favorite tools for helping people find some rest and introduce more subtle movement to students. We tend to take our breath for granted because it works on its own but with a little knowledge and exploration you'll gain an appreciation for the global effects of breathing well, discover a new tool for softening tension and finding deep relaxation for your whole self - body and mind.
